It was an Aloha Friday in San Jose for sure.

The Jimmy Weeks Project, Siaosi and Kiwini Vaitai brought the Aloha to San Jose with their musical stylings.  We want to give a big thank you to Danny from RudeBwoy Entertainment and Shane from EKM Records for the opportunity to cater the pre-show meal for the artists as well as snap some pictures.

Kiwini got the crowd going and set the mood perfectly.  The drinks started flowin' and the feet started movin'.  Relatively slept on, many mainland Island Reggae fans aren't all too familiar with his stylings. After his set, they were all more than familiar with him and his songs.  Now, these fans were able to put a face to the name especially for his single, "Hard Times" that gets constant airplay on iHeart Radio.

I've seen the Jimmy Weeks Project several times over the past few years and they never disappoint.  From an acoustic show at Pa'ina Lounge in San Francisco to the Island Reggae Festival in San Jose and The Mayjah Rayjah Festival in Oahu, their set is always amazing.  Tonight was no different.  Their set was super high energy and they covered all their fan favorite tunes.  At first I was a bit disappointed that I didn't hear my favorite song.  Luckily for me their hana hou was my favorite, "Homegrown."

Closing out the night we had the Siaosi. I'm a huge fan of him and his music and have seen him live all up and down the west coast as well as in Hawaii.  As the veteran on the tour, he closed the night out in style.  He was a familiar voice for many in attendance as they didn't hesitate singing along to his songs.  It was truly a "Reggae Party" as he grooved out on stage.  His singles "Nu Backchat Mama", "If You Were Mine" and "Good Lovin'" were definitely the fan favorites.

If you were in attendance you were definitely on your feet groovin' to their music.  Aloha Friday was in full force tonight.  Nothing but good vibes and great music.
